A Perfect Spring Evening at Materra Cunat Family Vineyards

Our April Mixer was one for the books! Hosted at the breathtaking Materra Cunat Family Vineyards, this dog-friendly event brought together animal lovers, community supporters, and wine enthusiasts for a beautiful evening of connection and compassion.

We’re so grateful to Materra Cunat Family Vineyards for donating their stunning space, generously giving back 20% of wine sales to support our mission, and welcoming roughly 40 dogs into their elegant space. Their hospitality made the evening truly special—for both two- and four-legged guests!

Expert Advice and Tail Wags
Napa Humane’s Pet Education Manager, Alyssa Vincent, was on hand throughout the evening to offer helpful tips and tricks on dog introductions and interactions—an important topic when you’ve got a crowd of canines! She also answered questions about our upcoming dog training classes and how our program can help build stronger, more harmonious relationships between pets and their people.

Shopping, Sipping, and Supporting
Guests mingled  while enjoying Materra’s exceptional wines and picking up tasty treats from Drool. Dog Cookies, who donated a portion of their evening sales back to Napa Humane. It was the perfect way to indulge while giving back!

Raffle Prizes Worth Wagging Over
This mixer’s raffle featured some seriously swoon-worthy prizes, including:

• • A luxurious gift box donated by Napa Soap Company

  • A Napa Humane Dog Training gift certificate donated by Napa Humane Board of Directors

  • A 90-minute session donated by 360 Health + Wellness in St. Helena

  • A six-pack of wine donated by Materra Cunat Family Vineyards

  • A one-night stay with breakfast donated by Alila Napa Valley
