Which Appointment Is Right for Your Pet?
Wellness & Preventive Care Appointment – $50
Choose this appointment if your pet is healthy and needs:

- A routine or annual wellness exam
- Vaccinations
- Flea and tick prevention
- Heartworm testing or prevention
- Other wellness and preventive care services
If your pet has any medical concern—including eye, ear, or skin issues
(such as hair loss or scabbing)—please schedule a Medical Concern Appointment
so we can reserve the appropriate appointment time for your pet.
Medical Concern Appointment – $50
Choose this appointment if your pet has medical concerns, including:

- Eye concerns
- Ear concerns
- Skin concerns (such as hair loss or scabbing)
When appropriate, preventive care services such as vaccinations,
wellness care, or parasite prevention can also be addressed during this appointment.
If your pet’s condition requires services outside our scope of care, we will
recommend transfer to a full-service veterinary hospital.
Veterinary Technician Appointment – $25
Choose this appointment for routine technician services:

- Microchips
- Nail trims
- Anal gland expressions
Services Outside Our Scope of Care
The Preventive Care Clinic focuses on preventive care and treatment for minor medical concerns.
We are not a full-service veterinary hospital. Pets needing advanced diagnostics, ongoing management of chronic conditions, surgery, or treatment for multiple complex issues may be referred to a full-service veterinarian.
Preventive Care Clinic FAQs
Appointment Deposits
To reserve your appointment, we collect a deposit when your appointment is scheduled. Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your appointment.
- Wellness & Preventive Care Appointment — $50 deposit
- Medical Concern Appointment — $50 deposit
- Veterinary Technician Appointment — $25 deposit
Deposits are fully refundable when appointments are cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
Because appointment times are limited and in high demand, honoring our cancellation policy helps ensure appointments remain available for other pets.
Clinic Hours
Wellness & Preventive Care Appointments and Medical Concern Appointments are available on Tuesdays, with appointments begining at 9:00 a.m.
Appointments are required. Walk-in appointments are not available.
Veterinary Technician Appointments are available on Thursdays and must be scheduled by phone at 707.252.7442.

Parking is available at the Spay & Neuter Clinic or next door at Napa Humane’s Pet Education Center.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Because our schedule is carefully planned to serve as many pets as possible, late arrivals cannot be accomodated.
Missed appointments or late cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy.

We are not a full-service veterinary hospital and are unable to provide emergency care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, hospitalization, or treatment for serious illnesses or injuries.
If your pet’s condition requires services outside our scope of care, we will recommend transfer to a full-service veterinary hospital.
