Farewell from Adrienne

As we wrap up this year’s Walk For Animals – our seventh annual, and my sixth as Event Coordinator – it’s all a little bittersweet for me. This year’s Walk is my last as a member of Napa Humane’s staff. I’ve really enjoyed working for an organization that does so much to support our pets and their people, and I have learned and grown a lot during my time here.

The Walk for Animals has certainly been the high point for me. Each year, the planning and craziness culminates in a beautiful Sunday filled with smiling walkers and their adorable pups, all coming together for a common cause. And each year, I am in awe of our sponsors, walkers and donors who step up and turn out to help us meet our fundraising goals.

I will miss seeing the wonderful people of Napa Humane on a daily basis, but they can’t get rid of me that easily! I still support the organization’s mission and vision, and I will certainly be back as a volunteer to continue to support their good work in the future. I look forward to seeing all the happy faces of people and their pups at next year’s Walk!
