Dogs and rabbits may be spayed and neutered at four months of age or older. We require that kittens weigh at least two pounds in order to be altered.

Napa Humane offers highly reduced fees for qualifying income eligible pet owners. This program aims to remove barriers to spaying and neutering pets and ensure that all Napa, Lake and Solano County residents have access to affordable spay/neuter services.

Core vaccination and microchipping services are available at the time of spay/neuter surgery.  Core vaccines include, Rabies for dogs and cats, DA2PP (Canine Distemper, Adenovirus type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) for dogs, Leptospira for dogs, FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) for cats and Felv (Feline Leukemia). We also hold a vaccination and microchip clinic each Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., no appointment necessary 

The services of our vaccination and microchipping clinic are available for Napa County residents only. Proof of residency will be required.
