Vaccines and Microchips
Vaccinations are important for your pet’s overall health to protect against contagious viruses and deadly diseases, and a microchip is one way to ensure that a lost pet finds his or her way home. Napa Humane promotes a healthy and safe pet population by providing low cost vaccinations and microchipping for dogs and cats – and microchipping for rabbits.
Vaccination and microchipping services are available at the time of spay/neuter surgery, regardless of residency.
DROP-IN VACCINE CLINIC
We also offer a drop-in vaccine clinic every Friday from 9:30 to 12:30pm.
To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please note that we will begin accepting paperwork at 9:15 AM. Clients will be called in order that paperwork is submitted, regardless of arrival time. We are committed to serving as many clients as possible within our operating hours. Please note on average, we are able to see the first 60 clients.
Please note, as the only low-cost vaccine clinic in Napa County, we are experiencing a high volume of clients, and wait times for our vaccine clinic may be up to 1-2 hours.
We do our best to serve everyone quickly and efficiently, and we appreciate your patience! If you’re in a rush, we encourage you to visit on a day when your time is more flexible or check with other local vets for a scheduled appointment. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Vaccination and microchipping services during these clinics are for Napa County residents only. Proof of residency will be required.
Please, for everyone’s safety, have your dog on-leash and your cat or rabbit in a carrier.

Vaccinations and microchipping are important, but alone do not replace the need for your pet to be seen by a veterinarian at a full-service veterinary clinic. Please see the article “How to Choose a Vet” for some helpful tips.
